Environmental Exposure Is So Important And Often Overlooked

Environmental Exposure

If you don’t allow your dog lots of time in a variety of different environments all sorts of issues can arise later on depending on the dog.
If you live in a rural area for the first year or two of the dog’s life and then move to a city setting you can’t expect your dog to just be calm and relaxed.
If your dog hasn’t been exposed to the city setting and the noises, scents, surfaces, etc that come with it, your dog can become fearful, nervous, anxious, reactive etc.

Ensuring a good environment for your dog

Take your dog everywhere and make sure in each new environment you make it fun and positive.

Train your dog early to prevent bad behaviour don’t wait until bad behaviour starts to train your dog

Think prevention.
